Ring Size Guide
The right size makes a statement ring feel like it was made for you. Here's how to find yours at home in a few minutes.
Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
- Pick a ring that fits the finger you plan to wear your new piece on.
- Lay it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimeters.
- Match that number to the chart below.
Option 2: Measure your finger
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the end overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters. That's your circumference.
- Match that number to the chart below.
US Ring Size Chart
| US size | Inside diameter | Circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm |
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 57.0 mm |
| 9 | 18.9 mm | 59.5 mm |
| 10 | 19.8 mm | 62.1 mm |
Tips for the best fit
- Measure at the end of the day. Fingers are usually a little larger in the evening and when it's warm.
- Between sizes? Size up. This matters most for wide bands and statement rings, which fit more snugly than thin bands.
- Check your knuckle. The ring needs to slide over it, so if your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose the larger size.
- Stacking? Rings worn together on one finger can feel tighter. Consider going up a half size if it's available.
- Available sizes vary by ring. Each product page lists the sizes that piece comes in.
